American Girls!!

Happy Friday!  I thought I would share with you a recent trip we took to the American Girl store in Columbus Ohio.  It is located in the Easton Town Center.



My daughter is a huge fan of everything American Girl.  This year for her birthday, instead of a kids party we took an overnight trip to experience the store. If you have little girls that are fans of American Girl I highly recommend this trip. It is only 2 1/2 hours from Pittsburgh so it is a great weekend trip.  We left Saturday morning and arrived right before lunch.

Snacks and Gum

We stayed at the Hilton Hotel and it was a wonderful experience.  I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Easton Town Center.

We decided not to do the American Girl Cafe lunch.  A few years ago we were in New York American Girl store and experienced the lunch there.  It was fabulous!!  So this trip we stopped at the Rusty Bucket!

After the store and a little shopping we took the girls back to the hotel to swim in the fabulous indoor pool.  They had the whole pool to themselves!  After the pool we went back to the room and got cleaned up for dinner.  We decided to go to PF Chang's because it was across the street from our hotel.  (*Hilton is the closest hotel to American Girl store as well)

We had a surprise for the girls when we arrived back to the hotel!

The hotel left American girl bags for the girls while we were gone. In the bags were American girl magazines, American girl travel beds for the dolls, library cards and blankets.

The library cards were for the hotel library to borrow an American girl book for the night.  The maids also came in to give the DOLLS turn down service ; )

Room service brought the girls milk and cookies for their night snack!  

 (*We added the American Girl package to our hotel reservation for the American girl beds and such from the hotel.) 

I highly recommend this trip and hotel for anyone looking for a great girls weekend. Easton Town Center is a wonderful place to visit anytime of the year!!
